i saw a peach on a tree
dangle and plop down to me
i've been allergic since i was 16
but i wanted to set the pit free
remember camping out west?
i saw a beast paw a pest
am i the pest
or am i the beast
i thought that you had meant boston when you said you were
moving back east
i saw my mom swat a fly
and sweep the fly's body aside
i watched the fly
wriggle and twitch and then die
and never once bat a green eye

I love the warm, natural sound of the performances: the way the vocals seem to be buried inside of the music, and the drums sound so raw and ambient. This is truly one of my favorite records. The songwriting is particularly inspiring.

I skipped my prom and instead stole a wooden cutout of Barney the Dinosaur from a yard in a neighboring village. I later returned that Barney to his home. ian1984
